Application:
The CNC gantry-type plate drilling and milling machine is widely used for precision machining of tube sheets, flanges, bearings, heat exchangers, and other structural components in industries such as petrochemical processing, nuclear power generation, wind energy, boiler manufacturing, and steel structure fabrication. It supports high-speed drilling using carbide tools with internal cooling, as well as high-speed twist drilling with external cooling systems. 1. The equipment consists of a machine base, longitudinal slide unit, gantry structure, transverse slide, vertical feed mechanism, drilling and milling spindle head, worktable, cooling system, automatic chip evacuation system, centralized lubrication system, pneumatic system, electrical control system, and other auxiliary assemblies.

2. The servo-driven sliding spindle unit is capable of performing drilling, reaming, tapping, chamfering, and groove milling operations. It can operate independently or in coordination with other axes. The spindle adopts a high-precision Taiwan-made BT50 taper spindle with internal coolant supply and a butterfly spring automatic tool release system. Tool change is achieved through a hydraulic loosening mechanism, enabling quick and convenient switching between drilling and milling tools.

3. The machine adopts high-precision linear guideways to ensure smooth, stable, and accurate motion. An AC servo motor drives a synchronous belt and precision ball screw system, guaranteeing excellent positioning accuracy and repeatability.

4. The machine frame and gantry are constructed from high-grade cast iron or welded steel plate structures. These components undergo high-temperature stress-relief annealing prior to machining, followed by a secondary annealing process after semi-finishing.
