Application:
The CNC Gantry Plate Drilling and Milling Machine is specifically developed for high-precision machining of tube sheets, flanges, bearing plates, heat exchanger components, and a wide range of plate-type workpieces used in petrochemical processing, nuclear power generation, wind energy, boiler manufacturing, and structural steel fabrication. The machine supports high-speed carbide drilling with through-spindle coolant, as well as high-speed twist drilling with external coolant. By integrating drilling, chamfering, tapping, milling, and boring into a single CNC machining platform, it provides exceptional machining flexibility and production efficiency. An optional automatic right-angle milling head further enhances its capabilities by enabling efficient side drilling, tapping, and milling of complex workpieces.

1. The equipment consists primarily of a heavy-duty machine bed, longitudinal slide assembly, gantry structure, cross slide, vertical feed mechanism, drilling and milling spindle head, worktable, coolant circulation system, automatic chip removal system, centralized lubrication unit, pneumatic system, electrical control cabinet, and other auxiliary components, forming a complete and highly efficient machining platform.

2. The servo-driven sliding spindle head integrates multiple machining functions, including drilling, reaming, tapping, chamfering, and slot milling. These operations can be performed independently or in coordinated multi-axis mode to maximize machining flexibility. The spindle is equipped with a high-precision BT50 internal-cooling spindle manufactured in Taiwan and features a disc-spring automatic tool clamping mechanism. Hydraulic tool release enables rapid and convenient replacement of drills and milling cutters, significantly improving machining efficiency while reducing non-productive downtime.

3. High-precision linear guideways are incorporated throughout the machine to provide smooth axis movement, exceptional rigidity, and outstanding motion accuracy.
