Machine Structure:

 

The machine is mainly composed of a worktable, movable gantry, moving saddle, multiple drilling power heads, automatic lubrication system, protective assemblies, circulating cooling system, digital CNC control system, and electrical control system. Rolling linear guideway assemblies provide structural support and guidance, while precision ball screw assemblies provide accurate motion transmission, ensuring high positioning accuracy and repeatability throughout the machining process.

1. Worktable:
The machine bed and worktable are manufactured as integral gray cast iron (HT250) castings. After undergoing secondary annealing and aging treatment, the components are precision-machined to achieve outstanding static and dynamic rigidity while maintaining excellent dimensional stability and resistance to deformation. The worktable surface is precision-finished and incorporates systematically arranged T-slots for efficient and secure workpiece clamping. Two high-precision linear guideways are installed on each side of the bed base, providing balanced load distribution across the guide slides and significantly enhancing the machine tool's structural rigidity, tensile strength, and compressive strength. The drive mechanism utilizes an AC servo motor combined with a precision ball screw assembly in a dual-side drive configuration, enabling stable and accurate gantry movement along the Y-axis. Adjustable leveling bolts are evenly positioned on the underside of the bed, allowing convenient adjustment of the bed and worktable level and alignment.

2. Mobile Gantry:
The mobile gantry is produced from gray cast iron (HT250) through precision casting and machining, providing a robust and rigid structural foundation. The front section of the gantry is fitted with two high-load-capacity rolling linear guideway assemblies, two sets of precision ball screw assemblies, and two servo motors, enabling the power-head slides to travel accurately along the Y-axis. Each power-head slide is equipped with an individual drilling power head for machining operations. Gantry travel is driven by servo motors through precision couplings that transmit motion to the ball screw assemblies, ensuring smooth movement, reliable transmission, and accurate positioning.

 

3. Moving Saddle:
The moving saddle is a precision cast-iron structural assembly engineered to provide stable support and accurate positioning for the drilling head. It is equipped with two high-load-capacity CNC hardened guide slides, a precision ball screw assembly, and a high-precision planetary reducer connected to a servo motor. This transmission configuration drives the drilling head along the Z-axis and supports rapid approach, controlled feeding, rapid retraction, and stopping operations. It also incorporates automatic chip-breaking, chip-removal, and pause functions, improving machining continuity and operational efficiency.

4. Drilling Power Head:
The drilling power head is equipped with a dedicated three-phase spindle motor that directly drives the precision spindle assembly. The spindle is supported by a five-row Japanese angular-contact bearing configuration, consisting of three bearings at the front and two at the rear, providing stable spindle support and enabling stepless speed adjustment. The feed mechanism is driven by a servo motor coupled with a precision ball screw assembly, ensuring accurate and responsive feed movement. The X- and Y-axis systems support coordinated motion under semi-closed-loop control, allowing the machine to perform both linear and circular interpolation operations. The spindle nose is fitted with an ER tool holder to provide secure and precise clamping of drilling tools.
